Strawbale Archery believes every archer belongs on the line, and every visitor belongs on this website. We are committed to making strawbalearchery.com accessible to people of all abilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

What we've done

Text alternatives on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
Descriptive labels on all form fields, buttons, and interactive controls
Full keyboard access, including dialogs that keep focus, close with the Escape key, and return focus where you left off
Color-contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA thresholds for text
Visible focus indicators throughout the site
Reduced-motion support: animations are minimized when your device requests it
Audio previews are user-initiated and never play automatically with sound

Known limitations

Song previews on this site are instrumental-and-vocal audio without transcripts or captions; lyrics are available on request. Some third-party services we link to (our checkout on Payhip, merch store on Printful, and embedded content) are governed by those providers' own accessibility practices.
