Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 5, 2026
Strawbale Archery ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect your email only when you give it to us, we never sell your personal information, and you can leave the list anytime.
Information we collect
- Email signups. When you request the free song or join our list, we collect your email address. This is processed by Kit (ConvertKit), our email service provider.
- Contact form. When you use the Connect form, we collect the name, email, and message you provide. This is processed by Formspree and delivered to our inbox.
- Purchases. Music and merchandise checkout is handled by Payhip, with payment processing by Stripe or PayPal. We receive your order details (name, email, items, shipping address for merch) but never your full card number. Merchandise orders are fulfilled by Printful, which receives your name and shipping address to print and ship your order.
- Automatic data. Our hosting provider may log basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To deliver the free song, guides, and occasional updates you signed up for
- To fulfill and support your orders
- To reply to your messages
- To keep the site secure and working
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies & local storage
Our site uses minimal browser storage to remember things like form state. Our service providers (Kit, Payhip, Stripe, Formspree, YouTube embeds) may set their own cookies when you interact with their services; their privacy policies govern that use.
Your choices & rights
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing us; we'll act on verified requests within 45 days.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither), to limit use of sensitive personal information (we don't collect any), and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Submit requests via the Connect form or our email; an authorized agent may act for you with written permission.
- Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other state residents: you have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and to opt out of targeted advertising (which we don't do). We will not retaliate for exercising them; if we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: because we don't sell or share data or run cross-site tracking, there is nothing to opt out of, and GPC signals are honored by default.
Children
Our site is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided us their email, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention & security
We keep list emails until you unsubscribe, order records as long as tax and accounting rules require, and contact messages as long as needed to respond. Our providers use industry-standard encryption in transit.
Changes & contact
We'll post any changes to this policy here with a new effective date. Questions or requests: use the Connect form on our site.
This policy is provided for general compliance and is not legal advice. For specific legal questions, consult an attorney.
